In order to provide to the scientists involved in research on therapeutic antibodies, a comprehensive view about topics of interest for the pharmaceutical industry, the LabEx MAbImprove started the Antibody Industrial Symposium in 2013. An annual 2-day congress, mixing academic and industrial stakeholders in the therapeutic antibodies field in close collaboration with clinicians. Since the 4th edition of AIS2016, MabDesign has joined forces in the organization of this congress, bridging academia and industry stakeholders.
In 2020, the scientific advisory board has decided to enlarge the topics being discussed in this symposium, and to adress therapeutic antibodies development as well the new advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) including cell and gene therapy. Thus enriching this community of experts and promotion exchanges that can go beyond one’s field and therefore create opportunities for further collaborations that may allow to bring new biologics into the market, and better serve patients needs.
Since 10 years, the AIS has allowed to gather more than 2 930+ Participants from 20 different countries, 380+ Expert Speakers, held 2 410+ B2B meetings, presented 72 Pitchs, 180+ posters and 194 Exhibitors/Sponsors showcase their latest innovations.
